Watermark & Company is an award-winning custom Design | Renovate Builder™ that delivers remarkable craftsmanship, efficient project management and a second to none customer experience while respecting the environment by adhering to green building principles. Michael Paclik, Jr. founded the firm in 2004 with the goal of creating spaces that reflect his clients’ aesthetics.

Mike is an Austin native whose passion for creating and re-envisioning spaces lead him to the College of Architecture at Texas A&M University. With a degree in Construction Science, he has studied the full range of construction methods from architectural design and engineering to project management and finance.

After graduating in 1998, Mike joined the staff of Plantation Homes and soon won the Construction Management Elite Award in 2001 for home building projects in Lakeway and Steiner Ranch. Later in 2001, he became a Project Engineer with Actus Lend Lease and was quickly promoted to Project Manager where he oversaw $45 million worth of site infrastructure and new home construction development from inception to completion at Ft. Hood, Texas and Parris Island, South Carolina.

In addition to his experience as a residential real estate investor, Mike is a NARI Certified Remodeler (CR) and a member of the Home Builders Association of Greater Austin. Through these professional affiliations, Mike continues to further his professional development and expand his knowledge of the home building and remodeling industries.
